Description

Inspired by our own hands when we reach down to drink, this piece represents taking responsibility for our plastic shadow and witnessing the problem within.

The piece was originally made to celebrate the Midway Gallery’s partnership with Lonely Whale commitment to stop selling plastic water in their venue on New Year’s Eve 2019.

Since then the piece has shown multiple times, including being a supporting piece in the AWAY exhibit at Planet Home SF 2019. and at the Bioneers Conference in 2022.
