Gonzo

Pitch Music & Arts Festival, Melbourne, Australia 2016

Reclaimed steel & wood

Collaboration with Joel Dean Stockdill

Description

Gonzo is a flying fox, red fox and human hybrid. Gonzo is a climbable piece, and has a non slip staircase going up his back leg that leads to a deck on his back.

He came to life from scrap metal and wood from the discards of a concreate construction company in Moorabbin, Australia.

He was commissioned for the Pitch Music Festival in 2016, but has continued to appear at subsequent festivals.

Note: We had to leave the country and move onto other projects before the festival was put on, we have limited shots of Gonzo in situ.
